Dadbods Gaming is a grown-up place for gamer dads to unwind: calm, respectful and laid-back, on your own limited time.
Dads first, gamers second. Most of us have kids, a family and a career, and not much time to play. Nobody here minds if you bail mid-match to change a diaper, help with homework or put someone to bed. Real life always outranks the game.

Need to bail mid-match? Go. Nobody will blink. Real life always outranks the game.
No rage, no flame wars, no gatekeeping. Respectful, mature and friendly, every channel, every game.
Shooters, sports, MMOs, tabletop RPGs or just a good laugh. If it unwinds you, someone here is into it.
Ground rules
These are summarized from the rules new members see in our Discord. They aren't exhaustive, and staff may update them as needed.
No sexist, racist, homophobic or otherwise rude or disrespectful comments, and no bashing wives or partners.
Take negativity somewhere else. Mutual positivity is what keeps this place laid back.
Treat others the way you want to be treated.
No nudity, NSFW or explicit content. We all have kids.
We respect your beliefs. This just isn't the place for those conversations.
You're playing with real people who have feelings. Don't belittle anyone for the games they enjoy.
Got an issue with another member? Take it to DMs first. If that doesn't work, message a moderator.
Threats or talk of violence toward anyone have no place here.
Links and invites to other servers need staff approval first.
Moderators can mute, kick or ban at their discretion to keep things fun.

Who can join? The main DBG community is a closed group for gamer dads. That's the whole point. We make exceptions for nobody's time, but we do ask for a grown-up attitude.
When something's not right
If someone breaks the rules, or you just have a question or suggestion, message any of our moderators or staff in the Discord. Disagreements with another member are best settled privately first. And if you'd like to help run things, ask about the staff application.
