Location: Blanchard, Oklahoma USA

Favorite Games: Legend of Zelda: Ocarina of Time (N64), World of Warcraft, PUBG, Heroes of the Storm, Battle Tanx: Global Assault (N64), Rock N’ Roll Racing (SNES), Gauntlet (NES)

Interests and Hobbies: Listening to music, playing guitar, reading, playing video games, watching TV with my wife, watching my kids learn and grow, tinkering, hanging out with friends, beer and hot wings, fart jokes, college football.

Fun Fact: I haven’t shaved in over 6 years.

About Me: I’m a father of 3 awesome kids: Gunner, Adelyn, and Thorin. My wife Cassie is an awesome stay at home mom (bless her heart...), and is honestly and truly my better half. I have two Great Danes and a Pug.

I work in the automotive industry as a General Manager for a semi large used car dealer in Oklahoma City. I spend most of my work time buying vehicles for our inventory and overseeing day to day operations.

I started gaming at an early age, playing Super Mario Bros, Zelda, and Link with my Mom on our NES. When I got a bit older, I was super into gaming on the N64, the legend of Zelda: Ocarina of Time being my favorite game of all time.

My first run in with PC gaming came after I was talked into playing WoW by my best pal Kenny (BlG Fudge). I was instantly hooked and haven’t looked back since. I blame all of this on him. Thanks a lot Kenny.

Whats the deal with Dadbods Gaming: I created a discord server named “Dadbod” August 2017. It was just a place for me and my other dad pals to hang out and play video games together, away from the Xbox live type of attitudes that are common in gaming.

Sean (Woden) saw a Reddit post about a dad with a young child going AFK in a round of PUBG, and then coming back to get the Chicken Dinner, we realized that there are probably a lot of other dad gamers like us out there that need a place and a squad like Dadbods. Sean made a quick Reddit post that was deleted in a matter of minutes by the Reddit mods, and the rest is history. We have been growing like wildfire ever since.

So what is Dadbods Gaming to me? Dadbods Gaming still has the same goal as it did when I created it in the beginning. A place for laid back, like minded guys to hang out, and escape the childish toxicity and immature stigma that plagues a lot of other gaming communities. Here we are and we’re doing just fine.

Favorite Games: Early Days: Monkey Island, Baldur’s Gate, Zelda, Original Doom, Sim Ant, Sim City, Double Dragon, Contra/Super Contra, Excitebike, Goldeneye, Age of Empires, Total War Series, Command and Conquer Series, HALO, Morrowind, Star Wars Rogue Squadron, NCAA Football, DayZ, Call of Duty, FIFA.

Currently: PUBG,  WoW, Fallout Series, Total War Series (Warhammer Total War, Empire, Napoleon, Rome 2, etc), Cities Skylines, Skyrim, Witcher Series.

Interests and Hobbies:  I am a black belt in Taekwondo and a level 3 certified in Krav Maga. I love to shoot. I like studying history and learning about weapons, old and new. I used to be in bagpipe bands (it got me lots of free booze before I was 21). I love University of Oklahoma sports, the Denver Broncos, and OKC Thunder.

Fun Fact: I have super sperm capable of creating triplets. Also my last is an adopted name. My family name is Ream and we come from Germany and founded Reamstown, PA in the early 1700s.

Quick Bio / Family life:  I was born in Oklahoma in 1980 and lived in Texas a while before moving back in high school. I joined the Army when I was 17, field artillery. I went to the University of Oklahoma. I was captain of the rowing team; my favorite was the 8-man boat. I went to law school and graduated in 2007.

We have been married since 2004 (wow). She is a Veterinarian and graduated at the top of her class. She loves to ride horses every week. I have 4 kids. 3 triplet boys age 8 and 1 girl age 4. I work with RedBeardz. I am General Counsel for our group of companies.

I have always had a passion for technology and video games. It has been great growing up with the start of console and computer gaming.

What is Dadbods Gaming to you?:  I remember talking with Preston in my office in late 2017 when we discussed forming this group. We thought Dadbods Gaming was both hilarious and super fitting. We had NO IDEA it would turn into this with such an amazing group of guys. Preston’s local friends joined first and I posted something on Reddit PUBG and got our first outsiders. They were an amazing group of guys, many of whom are still around in our OG group. It means a lot to have other dads across the world that understand what it’s like to be a gamer and a dad. It comes with its own challenges but can also be really great. I am very busy and it’s great to not have to sacrifice a lot just to play some games. I love being able to play a variety of games with dads who are patient and understanding. I hope we continue to find amazing dads out there that need a group like ours.

Favorite Games:
Throughout time in order- Super Mario Brothers (SNES), Tiny Toon Adventures (SNES), Golden Eye 007 (N64), Star Fox (N64), Halo 1 and 2 (XBOX), World of Warcraft (PC) Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 2 (XBOX 360), Call of Duty: Black OPS Zombies mode (XBOX 360), DayZ (PC), League of Legends (PC), PUBG (PC)

Interests and Hobbies:
I enjoy doing too many things, especially if I am doing it with people I love. I love music. Playing and listening, I currently play bass and drums at my church. I also enjoy video games with the bros when I get the chance, going to dinner with my wife, hanging out with my kids, I love beer and wings, reading, watching sports, and going fishing.

Fun Fact:
Redbeardz and myself were once in a Christian metal band...

Quick Bio / Family life:
I have been married to my amazing wife Laura for 11 years. She is an amazing person, I do not deserve her and I would be a worthless human being without her. She also stays at home most 6/7 days and takes care of my two girls Ella and Avie, and twin boys Mace and Maverick.

I work night shift as a charge nurse in a cardiac intensive care unit. I enjoy helping people and there is always something exciting going on.

I have been playing games for as long as I can remember. My dad got us a SNES, we spent a lot of time in Super Mario Brothers together and it is something I hope to enjoy with my kids one day. When I was 18 I noticed a few of my buddies playing this game called "World of Warcraft" on the PC. I tried it out and was instantly hooked, and fully migrated to PC gaming over the years.

What is Dadbods Gaming to you?:
Becoming a dad has definitely changed the way I look at gaming. I like to play PvP games, and I like to play with my bro's. Being older, having responsibilities makes it harder to sync our time together. It takes those nights of playing solo, or squading up with random kids or people who don't even speak the same language as me completely away.

Dadbods is a place we created just for our group of friends to meet up and play together. It still is that place, but now we share it with a large community of like-minded dads from all over the globe.

David "DavePumpkins" Gipson

Location: Cleveland, Ohio

Favorite Games: PUBG, Firewatch, Overwatch, MW2, any single player game that won’t take too long to beat

Interests and Hobbies: Podcasts, watching Cleveland Sports, Bourbon, guitar, going out to eat and hanging out with my growing family!

Fun Fact: I was in a band with fellow Dadbods member Hoorayitsdave in college!

About Me: I have been with my wife since I was 16 years old! We have an awesome little boy named Joey and another lil one on the way. Being a Dad is the greatest thing in the world and I am blessed beyond description for all I have.

What is Dadbods Gaming to you?: Dadbods Gaming is my distraction. When the family is asleep or work is stressing me out, it is nice to know there is always a group of guys who are around to talk or play games with. I have always found video games are a great way to keep in contact with your friends and meet new people and Dadbods Gaming is the best place for a Dad to do just that.

Matt "Morblor" Simon

Location: Purcell, Oklahoma USA

Favorite Games:
Final Fantasy Series, Suikoden Series, World of Warcraft, PUBG, Oldschool Runescape, Heroes of the Storm, Diablo Series, Elder Scrolls Series, and League of Legends to name a few.

Interests and Hobbies:
Business modeling, car audio, small computer systems, home networking, coaching youth sports (primarily baseball and basketball), spending time with my wife and kids, reading, and drinking beer after Friday because SATURDAY'S ARE FOR THE BOYS!

Fun Fact:
While I may look 14, I am actually 27… I swear it.

About Me:
I have two children, Conrad and Elijah, who take up most of my time throughout the week and I wouldn’t have it any other way. My wife, Katy, has stuck by my side for nearly 6 years and I’ll be honest- I have no clue how she has done it. Being a stay-at-home mom taking care of two young boys while also tending to the house all day and putting up with me is no small feat, but she does it with beauty and grace. I am very lucky to have her and would not be half the person I am today without her being in my life. We also have a half-wolf, half-lab named Charlie and a Chorkie name Dolly.

I work for the United States Air Force as a Contracting Specialist and most of my day is used spending tax-payer dollars on planes and engine parts. As of May 12, 2018 I will have graduated from the University of Oklahoma with a Masters degree in Business Leadership and Administrative Development.

I probably started gaming when I was four or five on an SNES with my mom playing Super Mario. I didn’t really start getting into gaming until I was nine. On my ninth birthday, I remember having my mom drive me down to Wal-Mart to pick up Final Fantasy 9. I had never played a Final Fantasy title up until that point, but the character models fascinated me, and I remember being instantly sucked into the story which is the main reason why I still play Final Fantasy titles to this day.

PC gaming was never really an option for me growing up. I always lived way out in the country growing up, so internet was never really an option until I turned 17 and cellular hotspots started becoming a viable method for online gaming. Kenny (BlG Fudge) talked about WoW at work all the time. I was always intrigued by that game, so I thought I would give it a whirl and 10 years later we are still playing PC games together. I blame all of this on him. Thanks a lot Kenny.

What is Dadbods Gaming to you:
DadBods gaming is a family-first, everything else-second type of environment where we understand the trials and tribulations that come with fatherhood. We understand the need to spend time with family and the unfortunate timing of needing to change a diaper in the middle of a fire fight. Dadbods Gaming is more than just a community; I prefer to think of us as a family of dudes that need an escape every once in a while.

I'm a full-time, partnered, variety streamer on with a passion for survival crafting, horror, and indie games. I also write articles for Streamer Square that cover a wide range of topics to help people in the live-streaming industry.

What is Dadbods Gaming to you?: Dadbods is an amazing community of some really chill dudes. It's so nice having a group of friends who understand exactly what you're going through as a dad. I originally met the Dadbods founders during a game of PUBG where I had to break mid-game to go deal with a screaming newborn. I couldn't believe I didn't get team killed or called out for being a "filthy casual". It's great having a place to hang out with like minded gamer dads who have a wide range of interests and experiences from all over the world.
